Jaigobin developing park in front Henrietta Holy Trinity

OWNER of Jaigobin’s Supermarket, at Henrietta, Essequibo Coast, Mr. Ganesh Jaigobin, has proposed to develop a reserved piece of land in front the Holy Trinity Church with his own funds.

His proposal is to help beautify the area for Town Day celebrations in August.
It is reported that Jaigobin made the proposition to the Anna Regina municipality, targeting the area next to his business place.
He said the project can add beauty to the township and, at the same time, prevent persons from dumping garbage there.
Jaigobin, who talked about it with representative of the Holy Trinity Church Roxanne Smith, at a meeting with municipal officers, said the area will be developed into a parking lot for short periods such as the Christmas season.
He promised that church services will not be disturbed by the playing of loud music or unnecessary noise and that the location will be beautified and transformed into a park.
Ms. Smith said the church has no objection to the development and endorsed it as a good venture for the community.
Her only concern is that the church services  be not disturbed.
