THE Unit of Allied Arts of the Ministry of Education last Tuesday evening held an evening of cultural performances entitled “Ganga Time” at the Theatre Guild Playhouse, Kingston, Georgetown.

The ministry took the opportunity to share the rich Guyana Folklore, Myths and Legends and lifestyles with colleagues who are attending the Caribbean Poetry Project 2013 in Guyana.
The evening was filled with dances from the National Dance Company and Cheeks Dance Troupe, Old Time Stories from Henry Rodney, and  reciting of poems by various persons.
