BISSOON Singh was fined $5,000, by Magistrate Sueanna Lovell, yesterday, for using indecent language.

The 59-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge that said, on May 21, at Lot 42 Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, Georgetown, he used the words to Suresh Persaud, thereby breaching the peace.
Singh, however, pleaded not guilty to another charge that said, on the same day, he made use of threatening language to the same individual.
In that case, the defendant was put on $10,000 bail and ordered to return to Court on June 10.
Singh said the virtual complainant, who is his neighbour, does not appreciate when he plays his radio in the mornings.
He said the man believes the volume is too loud and, on the day in question, appeared at his gate and cursed him.
