Carmichael shines for Club Crusoe

CLUB CRUSOE and Sports Elite Cricket Clubs played to an exiting draw last weekend, with Malteenoes Sports Club’s (MSC) Kellon Carmichael once again being in the spotlight for Club Crusoe, who hired his services as a guest player.

Club Crusoe of Tobago won the toss and decided to take first strike in the Tobago Cricket Association (TCA)-organised, Carib-sponsored 40 overs tournament and were bowled out for 185 in 39.5 overs with Kwani Thomas hitting an unbeaten 60 and Carmichael supporting with 26.
Bowling for Sports Elite, brothers Antonio and Anthony Providence and Shaquille Duncan took two wickets each, before their team were limited to 185 for 8 from their 40 overs, resulting in the match being drawn.
Kellon Lynch 57, Antonio Providence 43 and Adrian Alexander who made an unbeaten 41 carried their batting against the bowling of Carmichael who took 4 for 24 from his 8 overs, two of which were maidens to cart off his second man-of-the-match award with Club Crusoe.
