MS Prudence Edwards, who won the Scotiabank Mastercard holiday promotion, is on her way to Miami. The Georgetown resident received two tickets for herself and companion during a simple presentation ceremony done last Friday at the Carmichael Street branch of Scotiabank.

She will also get the equivalent of US$1500 as spending money credited to her Mastercard.

Customers were automatically entered into the promotion when they used their ScotiabankMastercard®, Scotiabank Gold Mastercard®, or ScotiabankMastercard® BusinessCard to make a purchase or obtain a cash advance. They received one ballot for each transaction posted to their account, but those who signed up online for the promotion received five ballots per transaction.

Edwards, a Scotiabank customer for over 12 years, was extremely delighted when she received the news of her good fortune. She noted that this is her first win.  

Bright Future donation

Scotiabank today donated $190,000 to the Buxton Youth Developers group under the bank’s Bright Future Programme.
This money will go towards financing the group’s after-school programme in which dozens of children benefit from homework assistance, remedial classes and sporting events.
