Minibus driver placed on bail for assaulting ‘pest’.

MINIBUS driver Christopher James told Cove & John Magistrate, Zamilla Alli on Wednesday, May 8, that his victim, Ernest Angel, was a pest who was always after him.

James was answering the charge of unlawful assault committed on Angel on Tuesday, 30th April, at ‘C’ Field, Sophia. The 43-year-old bus driver, who resides at 377 ‘A’ Field, Sophia, pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was granted bail in sum of $15,000.
The matter was then adjourned until May 23 for report.
