A TWENTY-SEVEN-YEAR-OLD labourer was sentenced to nine months imprisonment for indecent assault, by Magistrate Sunil Scarce on Tuesday, at Anna Regina Court.
Sunil Lall, of Richmond Housing Scheme, also on Essequibo Coast, had pleaded not guilty to the offence but was convicted after a trial.
Police said, last April 15, Lall assaulted his niece by touching her breasts and private parts.
