A MAN is in custody as police continue investigating the find of an unlicensed gun and ammunition, in Festival City, Georgetown, on Wednesday.

Ranks were on mobile patrol about 15:00 hrs that day when they saw the man riding a bicycle and acting in a suspicious manner.
As the police approached him, he dropped the bicycle and attempted to flee but was pursued and apprehended and the .38 revolver and three matching rounds were found in his possession.
He will be charged, shortly, police said.
