MAGISTRATE Zamilla Ali spared Cleveland Lam a jail sentence on a larceny charge after the virtual complainant said she had forgiven him. The defendant (no address given) stole a domestic transformer, valued $4,000, property of Janet Clarke, Police Prosecutor Clement Roberts told the court on Monday.
Clarke, who was present in the courtroom, informed the magistrate that she forgave the fellow Bachelor’s Adventure villager and, as such, would not be offering any evidence against him.
Magistrate Ali then dismissed the case but warned Lam to change his life.
