GIFTLAND OfficeMax, at the site of its Plantation Pattensen Mall, on the East Coast of Demerara, yesterday introduced the ‘Clae’ and ‘Asics’ sports footwear, as part of its 15th anniversary observance.

The Marketing Manager, Mr. Leslie Bonner and Marketing Assistants, Ms. Anita Singh and Mr. Devon Browne told the media that a number of other promotions would continue the celebrations.
They said Giftland will be introducing a customer card which would target school and university students.
Singh said that card would facilitate students with discounts in the purchasing of stationery and electronic equipment and, within a month’s time, the VIP member card would be re-introduced.
The latter would now have additional values affording the holders discounts at other stores and businesses outside of Giftland OfficeMax.
The introductory offer of a special General Electric (GE) water dispenser, at the cost of $29,500 and a concessionary price of $22,500 for three or more will also be on offer for the anniversary.
Clae shoes are worn by celebrities such as Tom Cruise and Tom Brady who appreciate the superior quality of that brand footwear.
Asked about progress with the construction at the site, Bonner said the work is on stream for the October opening and the media would, soon,  be invited to a walkthrough.
He said, as the works continue, more companies are coming forward to sign their agreements for tenancy at the location.
