GREGORY Robertson (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Allan Wilson yesterday, charged with unlawful assault.

He pleaded guilty to the offence, admitting that, on Sunday, February 24, in East Ruimveldt, he unlawfully assaulted Wendy Robertson.
Police Sergeant Kerry Bostwick, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant (VC) and defendant are husband and wife and they  had a misunderstanding over money to purchase fish. The defendant became annoyed and hit the woman on her head with a steel pan.
However, the VC decided not to give evidence against the defendant and the case was dismissed.
