Defendant guilty but… : Arrest warrant issued for absent, abused neighbour

BEVERLY Brown, 43, appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday and pleaded guilty to a charge of using abusive language. She admitted committing the Monday, February 18 offence, in North Ruimveldt, Squatting Area, Georgetown when she abused her neighbour, Cleveland Watson.
Police Corporal Denise Booker, prosecuting, asked for the defendant (no address given) to be placed on a bond but, because the virtual complainant did not attend court, an arrest warrant was issued for him and the case will be called, again, on March 13.
