KNOWN for his generosity towards various sport disciplines in Guyana, Ramesh Sunich and his Trophy Stall entity yesterday came on board to be part of the Unique Entertainment Banks Premium Beer Futsal Classic which is set for the Mackenzie Sports Club Hard Court.

Trophy Stall presented the organisers with the Most Valuable Player (MVP) silverware and for the tournament that fetches a first prize of $500 000. The second-placed team will go home with $300 000 and third-placers $150 000.
Twenty-four teams will be drawn from across the Linden Community, all hoping to cash in on the prizes. The organisers say the tournament will certainly be the talk of the town.
Marlon Washington of Unique Entertainment thanked Sunich for his contribution which he described as timely while stating that the competition is already gaining significant interest from the Futsal-loving community.
