CRICKET action at both the first and second division levels, played under the auspices of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), continues on Saturday and Sunday at five venues across the Capital City.
In the Hadi’s World first division two-day competition, the Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) lock horns with the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) from 09:30hrs both days at the GDF ground, Camp Ayanganna.
Simultaneously, the Police Cricket team will oppose Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) at the Police Sports Club ground.
Meanwhile, the Noble House Seafoods-sponsored second division two-day competition will have three matches over the weekend.
At the Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) ground, Woolford Avenue, Vikings will take on Police Cricket Club. The University of Guyana battle with Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) at the DCC ground and GYO meet the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) at the GYO ground, with all second division matches getting underway at 11:00hrs.
