Home Affairs Ministry commends Bath CPG, residents and GPF for crime-fighting collaboration

THE Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) yesterday announced that it has recognised the combined efforts of the Community Policing Groups (CPGs), members of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) and residents of Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice, for pooling their resources in a concerted effort to arrest the crime situation between the months of October and December, 2012. The MoHA said it commends and supports this joint effort, and encourages this model of partnership in communities across Guyana in the fight against crime.
