DEAPLALL Muakella, 43, of Lot 13 Section ‘B’ Clonbrook, East Coast Demerara, was crushed to death while trying to remove sections of a fallen tree he had cut on Sunday morning.

Relatives said the father of five left home to cut wood in the backdam, some distance away and, in the process he was pinned by the fallen bark and trapped under it until he was removed and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
