COURTS (Guyana) Inc., in the spirit of Christmas, distributed a number of gifts, including a water dispenser to the Paediatric Ward of Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
The latter follows years of a relationship with the institution, particularly in that area.

The COURTS team making the presentation comprised Mr. and Mrs. Claus and several popular animated characters, among them Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, SpongeBob, Dora and Wolverine.
After handing over hampers to GPH officials, the COURTS group interacted with children who were also beneficiaries.
COURTS Marketing Director Molly Hassan said the business place is always privileged to spread the joy of Christmas, especially to children.
She said it is customary for the store to give Christmas gifts to patients of that particular ward.
Hassan remarked that COURTS remembers the hospital not just at Christmas but all throughout the year.
She disclosed that COURTS has visited eight charities, so far and the GPH was the last.
Hassan said she is overwhelmed at seeing all the empty beds in the ward as it is a good sign.
Those in the ward, inclusive of parents, children and nurses, expressed pleasure at receiving the gifts, the visit of the characters and the caroling.
The characters and staff of COURTS seemed pleased as all the children had smiles on their faces.
