KWAME Anderson (no address given), charged with assaulting a policeman and disorderly behaviour, was released on his own recognisance when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges, which said he committed both offences last August 30.
The virtual complainant, Darell Cameron is a police officer who was acting in the execution of his duties, particulars of one charge said.
The cases will be called, again, on December 10.
