PRESIDENT Donald Ramotar presents a trophy to Tamasha Boyle of Bishops High School, the most outstanding student participant in the Guyana Legion’s 2012 Remembrance Day Quiz.
In the background, at left, is Legion General Secretary Kingsley Nelson. The occasion was the Remembrance Day Reception at the Legion’s Coghlan House headquarters, Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown.

Bishops High, with 32 points, defeated St. Stanislaus College, which scored 29 points, to win the competition.  Bishops was represented by Tamasha Boyle and Melisa Adolphus.
The runner-up St. Stanislaus team comprised  Delcie Adonis and Kirk Persaud.
Eight secondary schools took part in the annual competition which was sponsored by Digicel and televised by National Communications Network (NCN).
