LEEWATTIE Lowe, 49, of Lot ‘B’ Brickery, East Bank Demerara, appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with forgery. She pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on April 27, with intent to defraud; she forged the will of Mohammed Ali.
The magistrate instructed Police Corporal Kerry Bostwick, prosecuting, to file statements for the next court date on December 14.
Meantime, Lowe was put on $200,000 bail.
