BRAZILIAN national Ezekeus De Souza Lira, who owns a pharmacy at First Avenue, Bartica, reportedly, died after ingesting some viagra pills. Viagra is known to sexually stimulate men and the deceased was in a hotel room in the mining community on Saturday night.
Reports said that the businessman, who was in the company of a female from Agatash, Essequibo River, had a bath and it was when he returned to the bed that he stopped moving.
His companion realised that something was definitely wrong after detecting that Lira was motionless and she summoned hotel staffers, after which a report was made at the Bartica Police Station.
Some Barticians, who knew the Brazilian, said he was suffering from a heart ailment.
However, the woman with him was detained to assist the police with investigations into his death.
