SUPER League action continued on Wednesday night at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground where Alpha United clashed with BV/Triumph United.
Alpha won 3-0 in a match which saw BV hold the defending champions to nil-all at halftime, despite the Alpha contingent, sporting a number of former and present National players.
Anthony ‘Awo’ Abrams slammed in two goals in the 49th and 82nd minutes while Manasseh Primo slotted in the other in the 85th minute.
Action continues tomorrow with three games at two venues. At the Buxton ground, Buxton United, who are in third place with eight points, will battle Alpha United who are in the penultimate position on the points table with four points, at 15:30hrs.
Over at GFC, Pele and Rosignol United will clash from 18:00hrs then BK International Western Tigers will engage Milerock, who are bottom of the table, at 20:00hrs.
