Shieldstown man chops wife’s face -after refusing command to have an intimate relationship with another man

A wife has been permanently scarred on the right side of her face, after she refused to obey her husband’s wishes to be promiscuous.

The suspect Mohamed Razack, who has since gone into hiding, is a habitual drinker and whenever he is under the influence of alcohol, he would tell his wife to go into their Sheildtown, West Bank Berbice community, and have intimate relationship with persons of the opposite sex.
But the 46-year old Shannie would refuse and an argument would erupt between the couple.
On Thursday, shortly before midnight, the suspect is alleged to have identified a lover for his wife, but after she refused his commands, he threw her to the ground and dealt her several cuffs to her face, and as she was attempting to escape, it is alleged that the suspect armed himself with a cutlass which he used to inflict a chop to her face.
The victim is now a patient at the New Amsterdam Hospital. Investigations are continuing.
