IT is no secret that those who lived through from the 1960s including Nagamootoo and Ramjattan, are fully aware that East Indians and their businesses were specifically targeted by roaming African youth disguised as protestors who burned, looted, raped, assaulted and murdered in full view of the security forces. In the late 1970s and early 1980s again looters were aided and abetted by the PNC through their chief thug, Rabbi Washington and his rabble.
In the current situation we see no difference as evidenced in the Agricola protest spawned by Hughes and Nagamootoo, where East Indians suffered the indignity of being harassed, robbed and beaten James Bond style by another generation of enlightened African youths.  But, as the saying goes, a tiger never loses its stripes.
No amount of rhetoric from Nagamootoo and Ramjattan, including faked e-mail messages, can absolve them from complicity in the events following the Agricola protests.  
I hope those East Indians who voted for the AFC are taking note, not only of their silence, but also of their affiliation to a group of racists who openly glorified criminals as freedom fighters, and we all know who were the targets of these so called freedom fighters.
People like Nagamootoo, Ramjattan, Ram, Ramsaroop and Lall should follow Kissoon and openly declare contempt of their ethnicity, judging from the type of company they are associated with, and their betrayal of East Indians.
