A fire suspected to be as a result of arson, about 02:45 hours destroyed Julius Variety Store of 135, Regent Road, Bourda.
The business owned by Mr. Julius Mentis, which is a popular baby product, cosmetics, household goods and appliance store, was gutted by fire and losses have been estimated at millions of dollars.
When this newspaper visited the scene at about 07:00 hours, family members and staff were outside the premises and Mentis and other male friends and family were packing the goods which survived the fire. The store was totally renovated some seven years ago.

Two pickup vehicles were also seen driving out with goods to a safe house as the estimate of losses continues.
