GT&T is giving its customers the opportunity to win more than 10 million dollars in cash and phone credit this Christmas.
This announcement was made on Wednesday by the Coordinator of its Mobile Sales, Allison Dundas, at the launch of the company’s “Crazy Cash for Christmas” promotion.
According to Dundas, the promotion will run for the next seven weeks, and from November 5, the mobile numbers of subscribers to the Blue network will be randomly selected to win cash, once those subscribers top up with $500. or more daily.
Postpaid customers will automatically qualify with daily usage of $500.
Customers who qualify for each day’s jackpot will be called via a live radio programme on 98.1Fm at 12:35hrs from Monday to Friday. The jackpot starts at $40,000. To win cash, the customer is expected to immediately answer his or her mobile phone with the statement “GT&T, best value in Guyana!”
Customers will also be able to win “Out of the Blue” credit every Wednesday.
Dundas said, “GT&T is very excited about (the) promotion, as it is the company’s way of rewarding loyal customers.”
She encouraged subscribers to top-up and use their mobile GT&T phones more regularly, in order to win, and said that the “higher your top-ups and usage, the greater your chances (of winning) are.”
This promotion will conclude on December 24 with the selection of 12 lucky customers, who will participate in a game show to also take away Crazy Cash in time for Christmas.
During the launch, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Sonita Jagan, presented the keys to a brand new house to an elated Dionne Hercules.
Hercules, a cosmetologist, won the house when the company held its ‘Win this house’ promotion that was drawn on the final day of GuyExpo 2012. The house is valued at some 17 million dollars.
Crazy Cash for Christmas is the first in a series of events and promotions that the telephone giant will be offering its subscribers over the next few weeks.
GT&T’s Magical Night of Christmas, which has become an annual event, wherein the company provides gifts to scores of boys and girls is slated for December 19, at the Promenade Gardens.
