POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of boat builder Calvin Roberts, which took place on Tuesday, October 16, in Region 1 (Barima/Waini).

It is reported that the man, from Hobodiah, Mabaruma, North West District (NWD), was cutting a tree about 13:00hrs, on October 17, when it fell, pinning him on the ground.
His body was retrieved on October 18.
