ACTING Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, S.C on Friday granted bail in the sum of $2,360,000 to nine persons after listening to bail petitions in Chambers from lawyers on behalf of the accused clients.

The offenders and the amount of bail granted for the respected offences are:
Possession of narcotics, Brian Browne, bail allowed $250,000; Jose Maciel- $100,000; Arial Khan – $400, 000; break and enter and larceny & possession of firearm – $150,000 and $200,000 respectively; fraudulent conversion- Shakad Khan – $750,000, assault – Gansham Kalicharran – $10, 000 and Rape – Leon Gordon – $250, 000.
