DAVID Hendricks, 18, of Lot 344 Cummings Park, Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared in Court yesterday, charged with simple larceny.
Before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, he pleaded not guilty to having, on September 27, stolen a ‘Blackberry Torch’ cell phone, valued $150,000, property of Teron Abel.
Defence Counsel Paul Fung-a-Fat, requesting reasonable bail, said the phone went missing at the defendant’s workplace and he was accused of taking it.
The defendant was ordered to post $75,000 surety until October 10.
