Passenger and conductor squabble over quantum of $20 notes

Eighteen year old Candacy Anderson and her conductor paramour were relieved of charges originally meted out against them, when an appearance was made at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court, to defend allegations that they had allegedly assaulted each other. The teen was charged for assaulting minibus conductor Quincy Prince, while he was also charged with assaulting her.
The court was informed that on the day in question, Anderson was a passenger in a Route 44 mini bus, when she tendered a $1000 note to the conductor so that he may take out his short drop fare of $60.
However, Anderson was issued her $940 change in $20 notes, which apparently angered her, and upon disembarking, she and the conductor got into a scuffle resulting in her sustaining a wound to her face.
Nevertheless, the two refused to offer any evidence against each other and the matter was struck out by Magistrate Alex Moore.
