TWENTY-FOUR children who were successful at the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) examinations received Bursary Awards from Banks DIH Limited (DIH) during a ceremony in their honour on Saturday at Thirst Park. Human Resources Director, Andrew Carto, who delivered the feature address, said Banks DIH looks forward to hosting the ceremony every year, because the company has an interest in looking for future employees.
“When we look at you, we recognize the hard work you have put into your studies with the encouragement of your parents in achieving these results, and we are looking at individuals who, in another few years, would have the potential to serve the company,” he added.
Mr. Carto said Banks DIH has been able to attract the right kind of employees over the years, and those have helped to build the company.
He encouraged the awardees to continue studying hard and to utilize information technology to increase their knowledge.
