De Bluetoother see that Nigel eventually went and pay de tax he owe to de State. This is de same Nigel who claiming he is a “champion of decency” and who every day does be accusing officials of not abiding by de law! If he abiding, then why de GRA had to spend money and carry he to court to pay de taxes that he suppose to pay routinely! Not paying tax is an offence and people like Nigel, given de enormous amount he does earn, he tax is “fat” sum. When he don’t pay it then he depriving de State of revenues which is needed to develop de country and bring relief to poor people; de same poor people he say he “championing” dem cause!
Why he wait till de story turn public then to pay? If de media didn’t expose he, he would have probably keep de money and still holler how he helping poor people. That is why he championing fuh VAT get reduce, because everybody know that de reduction will only help rich people, and Nigel filthy rich! If was a government person who didn’t pay dem tax, more than likely Nigel would have offer he services free to prosecute de person fuh show that he is de defender and upholder of morality! De ordinary “joe”, meaning de ordinary man, not David “Joe”, does pay dem tax because dem don’t want to get drag to court. Dem wouldn’t be able to face people if that happen to dem.
