IT is nice to hear Home Affairs Minister, Mr. Clement Rohee, speak up on terror. Mr. Rohee should be reminded that there are domestic or local terrorists in Guyana.
Mr. Rohee must sit down and have talks with citizens of Guyana whose homes were invaded by bandits with guns, or the innocent citizen who walks the streets only to be choked and robbed.
Ask those citizens how horrified and terrified they feel after guns have been placed to their brains in order to force them to give up their hard-earned earnings.
Ask those citizens about terror if they survived their ordeals.
Terror charges must be attached to armed robberies where the law could send these terrorists away for life behind bars.
There are local terrorists too
