FOLLOWING the National Assembly’s receipt of a letter from the Ministry of Health requesting blood donations in observance of World Blood Donation Day last week, Speaker of the House, Raphael Trotman, donated one unit of blood to the National Blood Bank on Monday afternoon. The Speaker is encouraging parliamentarians and citizens to get involved in the practice of donating blood, because it contributes to increased health and could one day save the life of a loved one.
