THE police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ray Garraway, 23 years, of No. 41 Village, West Coast Berbice, which occurred at about 11:30hrs yesterday at Old Kara Kara, Linden. Investigations so far have revealed that Garraway was operating a ‘Bob Cat’ while loading a truck with sand at Old Kara Kara sand pit, when the pit caved in on him.
Garraway was taken to the Mackenzie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
