KELVIN Nelson, 26, of Lot 66 Barr Street Albouystown, Georgetown, was ordered to post $400,000 bail on an armed robbery charge Thursday. He appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, charged indictably, with having on December 21, 2011, being armed with a gun and in the company of others, robbed Hardyal Haripersaud of $1.6M.
Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, had no objection to pre-trial freedom for Nelson, but asked that he be made to post a substantial sum.
