CARLOS Bacchus and Osafo London were each granted bail in the sum of $100,000 each when they appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s court on a joint break and enter charge. The twosome were accused of breaking and entering the dwelling house of Garry Barrington and carting off one Dell Laptop, one gold ring, one pair of gold earrings, one Edge Modem and $180,000 in cash, all valued at $390,000.
The court was informed that some of the stolen items were recovered by police, allegedly from the two.
However, both Bacchus and London pleaded not guilty to the charges, and were allowed their pre-trial liberty by presiding Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin.
They are to return to court for continuation of the matter on June 25.
