RUEL Carew, 23, of Enmore, pleaded guilty to possession of a narcotic yesterday and was fined $10,000. At Sparendaam Court, where he appeared, Magistrate Alex Moore also ordered him to perform 20 hours community service.
Carew admitted that, on May 13, on Plaisance Public Road, also at East Coast Demerara, he was found with four grammes of cannabis (marijuana).
