AN EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD, who broke into an unoccupied house at Courbane Park, was shot and injured yesterday. Identified as Leon Jamar, of Annandale, also on East Coast Demerara, he is now a patient under guard at Georgetown Public Hospital.
Police said the shooting occurred about 01:00hrs when members of a Community Policing Group at Courbane Park, confronted the intruder and he was injured on his left foot.
