PPP hosts public meetings to discuss impact of AFC/APNU budget cuts

THE People’s Progressive Party is hosting a series of meetings, focusing along the coastland, starting today. Teams of government and party leaders will also be conducting outreaches in the hinterland, in Regions 7, 8, 9 and 1.
The purpose of these engagements is to discuss the impact of the AFC/APNU budget cuts, as well as to update the general public on the PPP/C Government position and response as it seeks to maintain the development momentum in Guyana.
Today’s meetings are scheduled for Regon 5, at 5.00 p.m., at the Blairmont School Bridge Square, and Shieldstown, Bankoo Square, both on the West Bank Berbice;
Region 6, at 5.00 p.m., at No. 64 Village, Isaac Sankat Square, and at No. 60 Village, Side Line Dam Square; at 4.30 p.m., at Johanna BBP, 3 Bridge Square; and 5.30 p.m., at Yakusari, BBP, 3 Bridge Square.
