THE police are investigating an incident that occurred at about 11:00 hrs yesterday at Coomacka Mines, Linden, where Linden Johnson of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Wismar, was shot and injured to his left thigh. According to a statement from the police, Johnson was reportedly shot during a confrontation with an armed Bossai Mining Company Security Guard.
Johnson has been admitted to the Mackenzie Hospital.
