It is said that ‘The Lord moves in mysterious ways’

GUYANA is indeed a blessed country and it is clear to my mind that the message from the results of the last national elections will remain significantly a bitter lesson for all Guyana and it can only be corrected by the electorate of the nation. The hands of both APNU and the AFC have been divinely exposed by their most alarming proposals, which in effect mean a G$20B reduction in the 2012 budget.
Finance Minister, Dr Ashni Singh, was moved to remark that some of the proposed cuts completely defy reason.
But think of it carefully.
Electricity bills will see a gigantic increase without the $18B subsidy from the government and this  is just a single example of the effect of the proposed cuts of the two political parties, who are both projecting themselves as capable of running the country.
Electricity affects every living Guyanese; the APNU and AFC will punish us all by the burden of unrealistic, high light bills.
However, what confronts us all as a nation of sane people is a basic question: Do we move forward together towards prosperity as guided by a PPP/C led administration, or do we subject ourselves to the capriciousness of the combined political opposition?
Let the electorate speak!
