Shoplifting defendant on $25,000 bail

– charged with shoplifting cabbage, cheese, blackpepper, blackeye peas, corn and milk powder from Survival Supermarket
A WOMAN appeared in court yesterday, charged with shoplifting cabbage, cheese, blackpepper, blackeye peas, corn and milk powder from Survival Supermarket.
Ericka Hamilton, 22, of Lot 16 Sheriff Street, Campbellville, also in Georgetown, pleaded not guilty before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
Particulars of the offence said it was committed on April 21 when the defendant stole the merchandise worth $3,988.
Hamilton was put on $25,000 bail until April 30.
