… Moses, Sosa in feature bout
THE official boxing card for the April 27 edition of Friday Night Fights (FNF) which is set to take place at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) has been released. The card features nine bouts, four of which are amateur fights prior to the five professional bouts that will wrap up the night. Guyana’s Mandessa Moses will go head-to-head with Trinidad and Tobago’s Tiana Sosa in the six-round feature Super Featherweight match.
Fight number seven will see CABOFE Flyweight Champion Dexter ‘De Kid’ Marques battle Barbados’ Ricardo Blackman in an eight-round Bantamweight bout.
Just before that showdown Elton ‘Coolie Bully’ Dharry will spring into action against Charlton Skeete in a six-round Bantamweight battle. Jermain King also meets Trinidad-based Guyanese Iwan Azore in a Catchweight (under-152lb) showdown over four rounds.
Junior Welterweight debutants David Thomas and Anson Green contest the first professional fight of the night with four rounds of action.
Meanwhile, the amateur fights on the card are: Travis Hubert versus Dewannie Lampkin (105-109lb), Jamal Eastman versus Cort Allicock (75-79lb), Ishmael McLennon versus Quincy Boyce (125-132lb) and Bert Braithwaite versus Keshawn Smith (Junior Welterweight).
