There is a proliferation of views that APNU/AFC collaborators are not in reality committed to a posture that will compliment our national development prospects, justifiable so because they have squandered every opportunity so far for cooperation and political maturity. The principals of APNU/AFC themselves have demonstrated to the world how insincere they are even when they make public commitments.
It is utterly amusing that APNU Parliamentarian, Ms. Annette Ferguson tries to disguise as an innocent, professional and objective young Guyanese. She is so emphatic about her upset over President Ramotar’s comments about the APNU/AFC atrocious parliamentary behaviour, that she deserves our pity.
She took us down memory lane and for her effort, let me inform and remind Guyanese that Ms. Ferguson is one of the provocateurs for PNCR now APNU. Her behaviour pre and post 2011 elections were not short of the usual rancor, bullyism and cantankerous behaviour for which her party is well known.
Ms. Ferguson’s letter is an outcome of emotional loyalty and did not at any point present evidence to suggest the least, an iota of doubt in the minds of Guyanese that the opposition offers anything other than a hostile and disruptive atmosphere at this time.
Absolutely nothing Ms. Ferguson said is convincing enough to persuade us to accept her appeal to view the opposition differently, especially when one takes into consideration the accumulative transgressions of the party she represents.
