The “chip” don’t be far from the “block”!
DE Bluetoother noticed the EAB saying that GECOM computation of the Statements of Poll (SOP) is basically similar to what they arrived at. APNU had demanded copies saying that they don’t agree with the GECOM calculations. Is the same attitude the people down at the Place of CONgress showed after losing elections in the past. Now that that party is APNU, the same attitude continues. Having received the SOPs, they took four months to add up and then claim that the numbers they get vastly differ from the Elections Commission.

In others words, they are trying to fool people into believing that they might have won de last elections! Not by the stretch of any imagination could that have been possible. The EAB not only confirms GECOM declaration, but is basically telling APNU that they lost fair and square and are liars!

People are once again seeing the kind of misinformation that party is spreading which is no different from it Place of CONgress “ancestors”! The “chip’ don’t de far from the “block”! That party knows it lost the elections from day one, but is trying to create diversions for its failure from its own supporters.

This is the same ploy the Place of CONgress used in the past. But as they try to fool others, they are only fooling themselves. Unfortunately, when they do, the country and innocent people are forced to endure as a result of their selfish and misleading antics. One peek into the past would confirm this. Yet they clamour, falsely of course, that development is lacking. If they so care, then they must stop creating tensions. Not only did they misinform on the election results, but fooled everyone into believing that it is a party of inclusiveness! With a questionable one-seat majority when combined with de AFC, they have decided to take all of the Chairmanship of the Parliamentary committees.

Also, they are trying to force themselves as a majority within the various committees. Government has moved to the courts in that regard with the Chief Judge ruling that the court has jurisdiction. Clearly, government would not allow them to impose their whim and fancies on the people.

For this the administration must be commended. While the EAB has made its findings known as it relates to the tabulation of ballots, it does not negate the suspicion that the election process was infiltrated by Opposition elements thereby robbing the government of its deserved majority! Hmmm!
