SECOND-PLACED Alpha United will meet BCC Rosignol United at GFC ground at 19:00hrs tonight in the 2012 GFF Super League fixture and there will be double-header matches at two venues tomorrow, as play continues this weekend in league matches. Tomorrow at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground from 13.30hrs Den Amstel will face Pele and the supporting game at 15.30hrs will bring together Seawall and BK Western Tigers. Over at the MSC ground in Linden, TLC Amelia’s Ward will match skills with Buxton United and the supporting game of the double-header at that venue will see pole holders CR&R Milerock and Victoria Kings match up.
Defending Champions Alpha United, fresh from a 2-0 victory over Victoria Kings last weekend, will be looking for full points to command the top spot in the League.
BCC Rosignol United, who won their first match against Buxton United 3-0, share points with Pele and will be hoping to achieve a miracle if all goes well, to secure full points and have a safe standing in the league table.
In the matches tomorrow at Uitvlugt, Den Amstel look to redeem themselves after suffering their first loss to Milerock in the league. Den Amstel, who have won all three of their preliminary matches and the opener to the 2012 GFF Super League against Victoria Kings, lost to Milerock last weekend.
The daring west side line-up will take the ball to the experienced Pele and an exciting game is expected.
The supporting match will see Seawall face BK Western Tigers for the second time in 2012, in two different tournaments.
In Linden, TLC Amelia’s Ward will show their superiority over another Buxton team when they face Buxton United. In the preliminaries the Ward side eliminated Buxton Stars to qualify to the 9th position in the qualifier in the 2012 GFF Super League.
Buxton United who have played two matches and have lost both will be looking to gain some points from this match and move ahead from the bottom of the league table, while Amelia’s Ward will be also looking for full points from their opponents.
In the supporting game top place team Milerock take on Victoria Kings.
