RAMPERSAUD Ramraj, 32, of Montrose, made his appearance before Magistrate Alex Moore at Sparendaam Court, also on the East Coast of Demerara, charged with threatening behaviour yesterday. It is alleged that the defendant behaved in a manner dangerous to the public at his home, on March 9, causing other residents in the area to report him.
He pleaded not guilty and made a tearful, but successful application for self-bail, admitting that he, previously, faced a charge for a similar offence.
Ramraj has to be back in court on May 4.
