LEON Williams, 28, was granted $25,000 bail on a simple larceny charge yesterday. At Sparendaam Court, on the East Coast of Demerara, the defendant (no address given) pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said he stole a ‘Smart’ phone, valued $50,000, property of Durwayne Noel, on February 25.
Williams is to make another court appearance on May 8.
