THE Alliance For Change (AFC), last weekend, held a two-day strategy session at the Ocean View International Hotel, Liliendaal to develop a plan and programme to consolidate on the gains made at the 2011 General and Regional Elections. The AFC, in a statement, said the workshop also focused on the Party’s strategy and activities over the next two years in anticipation of snap elections or local government elections.
The AFC said its party activists from all ten Administrative Regions of Guyana, and including
representatives from the diaspora of North America, were present and contributed to an aggressive plan of action that will see the AFC mobilizing across the country.
The Alliance For Change said, coming out of this strategy meeting, it is now more united, organized and ready to discharge its mandate in the service of the people of Guyana, recognizing that the current dispensation in the Parliament will bring benefits to the people as more checks and balances are possible under the prevailing system.
